This is one of the ads I created for Bistro 1130 in St Louis. As you’ll hear in my interview with Dan O’Day, there were numerous challenges with this particular French restaurant, all of which we were able to overcome.
One of the biggest mistakes restaurants make in their commercials is to try and highlight menu items that don’t sell. It’s imperative to focus on the biggest selling items. Why? Because people have shown they’re willing to pay for those items. Once they’re in the door, then you can up-sell them on the things that aren’t moving as quickly as you’d like.
